Direction to St James Church, Leith

St James Church is opposite Leith Links, at 11a John's Place, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7EL. Google maps seems to have improved recently, but be sure to search for St. James Scottish Episcopal Church, Leith or you may find yourself somewhere else entirely. To be on the safe side, use the link above the map, at the top of the page.
The church hall lies back from the road and, just to confuse matters, it's in the hall next to the big church building – not the church building. That is no longer a church. But fret not – you'll be able to see it, what with all the streamers and folks standing around in fancy hats.
Reception
Yes – the ceremony and the reception are happening in the same place, so there's no need to worry about getting from one to the other. Yes – it is very convenient.
Parking
There is quite a lot of free parking around the Links, but if you can park at where you're staying that would be better. (If you can't, feel free to park at the church, but if you could move your car by 10 o'clock on Sunday morning that would be smashing.)
Buses
All of that said, we really recommend Lothian Buses. Twelve different routes run close to the church: 10, 12, 14, 16, 21, 22, 25, 34, 35, 42, 49 and 129. There's bound to be one from where ever you're staying.
Taxis
If you want to book a taxi, we recommend Capital Cars. Ask the driver for a 20% discount off the metered fare at the end of your journey. 0131 622 6000.
